En primer lugar me gustaría informarle de que las Pujas 49 días para Dudjom Sangyum se completó con buenos auspicios el martes 14 de octubre de 2014. Durante estos 49 días, nosotros fuimos bendecidos con la presencia de Su Santidad Dudjom Yangse de Bhután, Su Santidad Kathok Situ Rinpoché, Su Eminencia Namgyal Dawa Rinpoche, Tulku Pema Wangyal Rinpoche, Tulku Rinpoche Rangdrol, Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche, Venerable Khenpo Karpo, Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoché, Lama Rinchen Phuntsok, Lama Tenzin Samphel, Lama Dawa Chodrak, Lama Yeshe Phuntsok, Lama Yeshe Zangpo, Lama Sonam Tobgay, y varios otros lamas. Además, un flujo constante de estudiantes en gran número participó en los tsoks diarios.

Me gustaría dar las gracias a todos los que asistieron a las pujas, y todos los que enviaron condolencias y ofrendas.
Cuando uno está presente en las raras ocasiones cuando una Dakini entra en Thug Dam, de hecho es una gran bendición y el reconocimiento de la propia realización potencial.
Las Escrituras y las enseñanzas afirman que alcanzamos el nivel más alto de purificación en tal ocasión.
Uno que entra en el espacio absoluto de la Dharmakaya muestra la bodichita para eliminar todos los oscurecimientos y todas las hambrunas, enfermedades, guerras, terremotos, desequilibrios ambientales, y otras calamidades de la que todos los seres sintientes sufren.
Personalmente, creo que Sangyum La, a causa de su realización, se mantuvo en Thug Dam en este país como un signo de la bendición para que los futuros estudiantes pueden conectarse a la esencia del Dudjom Tersar Enseñanzas.
Es sin precedentes que hemos sido capaces de obtener el permiso para que ella no fuera perturbada en nuestro centro de Nueva York, Yeshe Nyingpo, para los 49 días, lo que nos permitió continuar haciendo ofrendas extensas para su Kudung.

Sangyum La fue incinerada en Nueva Jersey, después de su voluntad y deseo explícito de ser incinerada aquí y no en otro lugar.
Me alegro por aquellos de ustedes que asistieron a las Kater Dor Sem Pujas aquí en el centro. De hecho, es su buen karma y mérito que hayan podido hacerlo.
Mi madre, Sangyum La, dio instrucciones de que aquellos de ustedes que están lejos no deben sentirse agobiados financieramente por venir aquí para rendir homenaje a la Kudung o Pujas.
En consecuencia he disuadido a muchos de ustedes de venir, pero, no obstante, algunos de ustedes vinieron por su propia voluntad. Por eso, yo digo "tienes suerte" y has demostrado tu conexión.

También aprecio la gran distancia a la que Su Santidad Dudjom Rinpoche Yangse, Su Eminencia Kathok Situ Rinpoche, y Venerable Khenpo Karpo viajaron desde Bhután para estar presentes durante muchas semanas de los 49 días.
Para todos nosotros, fue una maravillosa oportunidad de orar y practicar juntos con esta maravillosa Sadhana, Kater Dor Sem, que Su Santidad Dudjom Rinpoche escribió simplemente para nuestro beneficio.
Durante estos 49 días, la gente trabajó sin problemas juntos con amor y armonía en la Sangha. Muchos de los estudiantes y las familias ofrecieron las comidas que tuvimos en cada puja. Dudjom Sangyum, mi madre, fue incinerada por la mañana temprano durante la Luna Llena tibetana, miércoles 8 de octubre, simultáneamente con el eclipse lunar.
Asistieron a la cremación todos miembros de nuestra familia, Su Santidad Dudjom Yangse, y muchos de los lamas para realizar la puja Kater Dor Sem y la ceremonia del encendido de fuego.
Durante el tiempo de la cremación, muchos arcos iris aparecieron.

Dear Sangha, Friends, and Well Wishers,
First of all I would like to inform you that the 49 day Pujas for the Dudjom Sangyum was completed auspiciously on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. During these 49 days, we were blessed with the presence of His Holiness Dudjom Yangse from Bhutan, His Holiness Kathok Situ Rinpoche, His Eminence Namgyal Dawa Rinpoche, Tulku Pema Wangyal Rinpoche, Tulku Rangdrol Rinpoche, Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche, Venerable Khenpo Karpo, Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche, Lama Rinchen Phuntsok, Lama Tenzin Samphel, Lama Dawa Chodrak, Lama Yeshe Phuntsok, Lama Yeshe Zangpo, Lama Sonam Tobgay, and several other lamas. In addition, a steady flow of students in large numbers participated in the daily tsoks.
I would like to thank all those who attended the pujas, and all those who sent condolences and offerings.
When one is present on the rare occasion when a Dakini enters into Thug Dam, it is indeed a great blessing and recognition of one’s own potential realization. The scriptures and teachings state that we reach the highest level of purification on such an occasion. One who enters into the absolute space of the Dharmakaya displays the bodhicitta to remove all obscurations and all famine, disease, war, earthquakes, environmental imbalances, and other calamities from which all sentient being suffer.
I personally feel that the Sangyum, because of her realization, remained in Thug Dam in this country as a sign of blessing so that future students may connect to the essence of the Dudjom Tersar Teachings. It is unprecedented that we were able to obtain permission for her to be undisturbed at our New York center, Yeshe Nyingpo, for all 49 days, which allowed us to continue making extensive offerings to her Kudung.
At this juncture, I would like to whole heartedly thank the kindness of His Majesty, the Fourth Druk Gyalpo and his Bhutanese mission here in NY for assisting us in gaining permission for the 49 day stay. The Sangyum was cremated in New Jersey, following her command and explicit wish to be cremated here and not elsewhere.
I would like to rejoice with those of you who attended the Kater Dor Sem Pujas here in the center. It is indeed your good karma and merit that you were able to do so. My mother, the Sangyum, left instructions that those of you who are far away should not be financially burdened to come here to pay respect to the Kudung or pujas. I accordingly deterred many of you from coming, but none the less some of you came on your own accord. For that, I say “you are lucky” and you proved your connection.
From the moment the Sangyum passed into parinirvana on August 27 to the 49th day to the cremation, many miraculous things happened. I don’t want to go into more detail, but nevertheless strange phenomena appeared, and even “nature” acknowledged her passing.
Because of Tulku Pema Wangyal’s family connection to the Dudjom family, Tulku Pema Wangyal, Tulku Rangdrol, and Jigme Khyentse were all here during this time. Tulku Pema Wangyal and Tulku Rangdrol offered to perform the embalming of the Kudung. They are extremely experienced and skilled in performing this service, having preserved many Lama’s bodies in the correct way, including that of His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche. Our family remains wholeheartedly grateful for their service and advice in this important preparation.
At this point I also wish to acknowledge Lama Sonam’s tireless effort in preparing, organizing, and leading the Kater Dor Sem puja that was performed each of the 49 days. Also I appreciate the great distance that His Holiness Dudjom Yangse Rinpoche, His Eminence Kathok Situ Rinpoche, and Venerable Khenpo Karpo traveled from Bhutan to be present for many weeks of the 49 days.
For all of us, it was a wonderful opportunity to pray and practice together with this wonderful sadhana, Kater Dor Sem, that His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche wrote simply for our benefit.
During these 49 days, people worked flawlessly together with so much love and harmony in the sangha. Many students and families offered the meals we had at each puja. My staff worked ceaselessly in preparing and making this a success. Everyone did their utmost best. I thank you all.
Dudjom Sangyum, my mother, was cremated early in the morning on the Tibetan Full Moon, Wednesday October 8, simultaneous with the Lunar eclipse. Attending the cremation were all our family members, His Holiness Dudjom Yangse, and many of the Lamas to perform the Kater Dor Sem puja and the fire lighting ceremony. During the time of the cremation, many rainbows appeared. In the sky above the crematorium, a cloud in the form of Manjusri’s sword remained for several hours during the whole ceremony.
On the last day of the 49 days, we had a major tsok, during which I offered the Sangyum Kusho’s salt and cloth relics to those who attended.
Though from the relative sense, the Sangyum has departed to the Buddhafields; from the absolute point of view, she has merged her mind into the pure space of the Dhamakaya. As the union of skillful means and method, ceaseless emanations will still manifest, hearing the call and plea of devotees who can be tamed. We also have several prayers invoking her swift rebirth, including ones composed by His Holiness Sakya Trizin, Tulku Pema Wangyal Rinpoche, and Lama Yeshe Zangpo.
I would also like to inform you that simultaneously, we organized the 49 day prayers and pujas in Kathmandu, Bhutan, Bodhagaya, Orissa, Kalimpong, Sikkim, His Holiness Trulshik Rinpoche’s Gompa, as well as in Tibet by the His Holiness Dudjom Yangse Rinpoche.
